Prayer for Loss of a Loved One

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come to you in our time of grief and loss.

We are heartbroken at the passing of our loved one, and we are struggling to understand why this has happened.

We know that you are close to the brokenhearted, and that you are the God of all comfort.

We ask that you would surround us with your love and peace, and that you would give us the strength and courage to face each day.

We trust in your promise of eternal life, and we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with our loved one in heaven.

We ask for your grace and comfort for all who are also grieving, and we pray that your love would be evident in our lives as we journey through this difficult time.

We pray this in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
