Prayer for Peace

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come to you today with heavy hearts, seeking your peace and comfort in a world filled with turmoil and unrest.

We ask for your wisdom to guide leaders and decision-makers, and for your protection for those who are vulnerable and in harm's way.

We pray for your spirit of peace to be evident in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

Help us to seek reconciliation, to practice kindness and compassion, and to resist the urge to retaliate when we are wronged.

Give us the courage to stand up for what is right and to be peacemakers in a world that so often seems bent on conflict and division.

We trust in your promise to bring peace to our hearts and to the world, and we ask this in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
