Conversations with GOD

Behold, the place of sorrow, the hill of suffering. Here, where the skull is laid bare, they brought Me, the Son of God, to be lifted up before the eyes of the world. They led Me as a lamb to the slaughter, yet My lips uttered no protest. For this purpose, I came — to give My life as a ransom for many.

The weight of the cross pressed upon My torn flesh, and My strength waned with each step. The jeering of the crowd filled the air, their voices mingling with the wailing of those who loved Me. Some spat upon Me, others struck Me, and yet I looked upon them with love, for they did not understand what they did.

At the top of the hill, they stretched My arms wide and drove iron through My hands and feet. The pain was great, yet the burden I carried was greater still — the burden of sin, the weight of all mankind’s transgressions. With every strike of the hammer, redemption was secured. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins.

They raised Me up between two thieves, and the sky darkened as the earth trembled. The righteous Judge was judged as a sinner, and the innocent was condemned so that the guilty might be set free. The rulers mocked, saying, “He saved others, but He cannot save Himself.” But I tell you, I did not come to save Myself — I came to save you.

I beheld My mother in her sorrow, and the disciple whom I loved standing near. To him, I said, “Behold your mother.” And to her, “Behold your son.” Even in suffering, love remained.

The thief on My right turned to Me with a humble heart and pleaded, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And I said to him, “Today, you shall be with Me in paradise.” One heart repented, one remained hardened, and so it is with all men — they must choose.

Then, the hour of agony came, when the Father turned His face away. I cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” In that moment, I bore the full wrath of sin, the separation that mankind had known since the fall. I drank the cup to its dregs, so that you would never have to.

The work was complete. The battle was won. With My final breath, I declared, “It is finished.” The price of sin was paid in full, the chains of death were broken, and the power of the enemy was defeated.

The earth shook, the veil of the temple was torn, and those who stood nearby trembled. A centurion looked upon Me and said, “Truly, this was the Son of God.”

They took My body down and laid Me in a tomb, but the story did not end there. For the grave could not hold Me, and death had no victory.

Three days later, I arose, and now I live forevermore. And to all who believe, I give life eternal.

Come to Me, and you shall live.

Note: These are my personal conversations with GOD. If you want a relationship with Him, as revealed in His message, simply remember to be still and you will know… (Psalm 46:10)
